DCM Shriram jumps on expanding capacity of sugar plant at Loni Unit

DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs. 1350.60, up by 27.45 points or 2.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 1323.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1345.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1370.00 and Rs. 1318.35 respectively. So far 22117 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1370.00 on 19-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 840.15 on 28-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1370.00 and Rs. 1170.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21035.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.47% and 22.01% respectively.

DCM Shriram has achieved 2100 TCD expansion of Sugar Plant at Loni Unit, Uttar Pradesh, by increasing cane crushing capacity from 7300 TCD to 9400 TCD. This expansion will growth-capture cane potential within catchment area of the company.

Earlier, the company had commissioned its ‘Flexi-fuel Flaker plant’ of 300 TPD capacity at its flagship Chemical complex at Jhagadia, Bharuch District, Gujarat on October 17, 2024.

DCM Shriram runs two businesses energy intensive and agri business. The company is also the third largest manufacturer of Chlor-Alkali in the India. They have launched value added UPVC window system business under the Fenesta TM brand in India.
