Cyient surges after inking contract with GreenH and Luxcara for hydrogen project in Norway

Cyient is currently trading at Rs 1189.95, up by 45.00 points or 3.93% from its previous closing of Rs 1144.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 1185.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1204.45 and Rs 1161.25 respectively. So far 15165 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 2156.35 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 1050.20 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1204.45 and Rs 1050.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 13245.28 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.55% and 18.31% respectively.
Cyient has been awarded a strategic contract to support Green H Bodo in the development and execution of its hydrogen production and distribution facility at Langstranda in Bodo, Norway. The project is part of a joint venture between GreenH and Luxcara.
The Bodo project represents a major step in advancing Norway’s renewable energy ambitions, focusing on delivering green hydrogen to the maritime sector and heavy transport industries. The hydrogen facility will supply green hydrogen fuel under a long-term agreement with Torghatten Nord AS, fuelling the Vestfjorden ferries - a cornerstone project in Norway’s green energy transformation for the maritime sector.
