Crizac trades jubilantly on inking pact to invest Rs 1.24 crore in Edument Consultancy
Crizac is currently trading at Rs. 216.40, up by 10.00 points or 4.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 206.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 210.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 221.90 and Rs. 210.00 respectively. So far 23117 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 387.50 on 08-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 174.00 on 30-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 221.90 and Rs. 203.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3803.24 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.94%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.77% and 14.29% respectively.
Crizac has entered into definitive agreements to invest an aggregate amount of around Rs 1.24 crore in Edument Consultancy by way of acquisition of Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) and Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCD) from the existing investors, in one or more tranches, subject to terms and conditions contained in the definitive agreements.
The strategic investment aims to bring complementary offerings to the company’s existing customers in the areas of AI-led student mobility infrastructure and cross-border education financing. The said transaction is expected to be completed by August 12, 2026.
