CRISIL inches up on getting nod to acquire 100% stake in Bridge to India Energy
CRISIL is currently trading at Rs. 3864.55, up by 12.70 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 3851.85 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 3858.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3895.05 and Rs. 3850.00 respectively. So far 118 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4070.20 on 23-Aug-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2712.05 on 23-Dec-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3957.60 and Rs. 3812.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 28159.47 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.67%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.35% and 12.99% respectively.
CRISIL’s board has approved the acquisition of 100% of the equity share capital of Bridge to India Energy, at a consideration of Rs 6 crore, subject to closing adjustments. Additionally, a payment of Rs 1.3 crore will be paid upfront as non-compete fees. The binding agreement with respect to the acquisition has been signed on September 12, 2023. The acquisition will augment CRISIL’s existing offerings and bolster its market positioning in the renewable energy space.
