Below the Comment on Trump`s re-election can benefit the manufacturing, IT, telecom and defense sector in India by Pranay Aggarwal, CEO, Stoxkart
Trump has been strongly vocal about reducing US dependence on China which can generate opportunities for Indian manufacturers and IT services. Additionally, his objective to strengthen manufacturing in the US could encourage large US companies to set up production in India. He has proposed to reduce tax on US domestic production from 21% to 15% which may give room for IT outsourcing to companies like TCS and HCL Technologies.
His proposal to increase investment in strategic technologies like 5g could benefit Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel. The continuation of his first-term approach for security cooperation through Quad and similar initiatives can benefit the defense sector.
