SEBI has provided regulatory relief by extending the validity of observation letters, which helps companies avoid the cost and effort of restarting the IPO process. But the next move is now with the companies. Before going ahead, they will need to reassess their risk and financial disclosures in light of current market and geopolitical conditions and update the offer document accordingly. So, while the extension reduces process cost, pricing and investor response will still depend on the quality of disclosures and market confidence.
