Ceigall India gains on bagging LOI from REC Power Development and Consultancy
Ceigall India is currently trading at Rs. 240.50, up by 0.55 points or 0.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 239.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 244.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 247.45 and Rs. 240.30 respectively. So far 9518 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 383.00 on 11-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 229.00 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 248.65 and Rs. 239.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4200.08 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 82.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.13% and 9.79% respectively.
Ceigall India has secured Letter of Intent (LOI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy for establishment of 400/220 kV Velgaon Substation (GIS) through Tariff based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) Process. It carries a completion period of 24 months from the effective date, followed by an operation and maintenance period of 35 years. The contract value stands at Rs 58.5 crore annually for 35 years as yearly transmission charges, against EPC cost of around Rs 450 crore.
Earlier in July 2025, the company had emerged as L1 Bidder for the same project.
