Borana Weaves gains on commencing commercial operations water jet looms at Surat

Borana Weaves is currently trading at Rs. 219.55, up by 1.40 points or 0.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 218.15 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 220.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 220.80 and Rs. 219.10 respectively. So far 93 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 267.85 on 28-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 213.00 on 03-Jun-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 224.00 and Rs. 216.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 583.80 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.10% and 24.67% respectively.
Borana Weaves has commenced commercial operations of 192 state-of-the-art water jet looms at its Plot No. B-5/4, B-5/5, B-5/3, Road No. 9, Hojiwala Ind. Estate, Sachin Udhyog Nagar, Sahkari Mandli, Sachin, Surat. These looms form part of the Company’s ongoing expansion project to install a total of 348 water jet looms aimed at enhancing its weaving capacity and product range.
The commissioning of these 192 looms represents a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey. The new capacity is expected to improve operational efficiency, increase production volumes, and enable the company to cater to rising demand in both domestic and international markets.
