Bitget Celebrates International Women`s Day 2025 with Blockchain4Her Exclusive Pins

Bitget, the leading cryptocurrency exchange and Web3 company, proudly celebrates International Women's Day (IWD) by reaffirming its dedication to empowering women in blockchain. This IWD, Bitget introduces a symbolic, Blockchain4Her (B4H) Pin. This pin serves as a call to action for greater awareness of gender equality, encouraging more women to engage in blockchain. It symbolizes Bitget’s commitment to advancing inclusivity and highlights the contributions of the women it has collaborated with. Moving forward, this initiative will continue to elevate, empower, and inspire more women in the industry.

Inspired by the Romanian tradition of Martisor the red and white string attached to a small token represents the beginning of spring. The tradition has its roots in "martie", which means March, symbolizing hope, renewal, and new beginnings, a tradition reflective of Blockchain4Her's mission and the spirit of International Women's Day. The pin will be available at all upcoming B4H events and to applicants of the Blockchain4Her Awards. Starting with the Crypto Expo in Romania, Bitget distributed Blockchain4Her pins to women who joined the initiative.

Beyond the Blockchain4Her pin, Bitget is proud to announce the Blockchain4Her Mentorship Program. Seeing the success of our B4H Ambassadors program, the Mentorship Program aims to connect aspiring female web3 entrepreneurs with experienced mentors who will guide and support participants in their own journey. Mentors for the program include B4H ambassadors and past B4H Award winners

."Wearing this pin is not just about representation - it’s about spreading a mindset and inspiring others to recognize the importance of gender equity. Visibility creates power, and by making these efforts seen and acknowledged, we amplify their impact. This pin embodies the spirit of change, progress, and inclusivity, reflecting Bitget’s unwavering commitment to building a truly diverse Web3 ecosystem. It’s a small token of something monumental - a movement that is only just beginning,” said Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget.

In the past year, Blockchain4Her has distributed $50,000 to support promising projects led by women and recognized nine exceptional women with the Blockchain4Her Awards for their inspiring contributions. In addition, Blockchain4Her hosted over 10 meetups globally, fostering meaningful conversations and collaborations within the community. These events attracted more than 1,000 women who participated in networking, learning, and driving innovation in the blockchain space. The initiative also garnered substantial global media attention, amplifying its mission and impact worldwide.

As part of its long-term vision, Bitget will continue to collaborate with key female industry players and further invest in networking events to amplify women’s voices and create an inclusive network of like-minded individuals.
