Biocon surges on reporting over 4-fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Biocon has reported net profit at Rs 52.20 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27) as against net loss of Rs 8.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 15.19% at Rs 689.30 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 598.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported over 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 141.10 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 31.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 9.17% at Rs 4,390.50 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 4,021.60 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
