Bharti Airtel rises on entering into partnership with Google

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 1822.15, up by 13.55 points or 0.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 1808.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1810.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1826.45 and Rs. 1806.75 respectively. So far 246565 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1916.90 on 07-May-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1224.50 on 04-Jun-2024.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1869.65 and Rs. 1799.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1111403.98 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.42%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 44.77% and 2.85% respectively.
Bharti Airtel and Google have entered into partnership. The said partnership will bring a compelling Google One cloud storage subscription service for Airtel customers, helping address the mounting challenge of limited device storage. All postpaid and Wi-Fi customers will get access to six months of 100 GB Google One cloud storage at no extra cost. They will also be able to share this storage with up to five additional people.
The partnership aims to address the issue of growing data storage constraints faced by users by ensuring that customers have ample space to store their cherished photos, videos, documents and other digital content without the need to frequently delete files or resort to expensive physical storage expansions. Additionally, WhatsApp chats on Android are backed up to Google Account storage which will make device switching easier for customers. The cloud storage provision is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms, making it widely accessible to Airtel's diverse customer base.
