Bharat Forge moves up as its arm signs MoU with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers

Bharat Forge is currently trading at Rs. 1927.55, up by 28.20 points or 1.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 1899.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1899.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1936.35 and Rs. 1882.00 respectively. So far 58993 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,936.35 on 06-Mar-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 919.10 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,936.35 and Rs. 1800.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 91879.07 crore.

Bharat Forge’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Kalyani Strategic Systems (KSSL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), on March 5, 2026, to strengthen India’s shipbuilding capabilities in marine engineering including Propulsion Systems, Steering Gear and Integrated Platform Management Systems, through collaborative participation.

The partnership envisages collaboration between the sides based on mutual strengths to provide Indigenous solution in Ship Propulsion for Naval and Commercial ships. This is expected to contribute enhancement in India’s maritime technological strengths as well as self-reliance in move segment for long term operational capabilities.
