Bharat Forge moves up as its arm signs MoU with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers

Bharat Forge’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Kalyani Strategic Systems (KSSL) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), on March 5, 2026, to strengthen India’s shipbuilding capabilities in marine engineering including Propulsion Systems, Steering Gear and Integrated Platform Management Systems, through collaborative participation.
The partnership envisages collaboration between the sides based on mutual strengths to provide Indigenous solution in Ship Propulsion for Naval and Commercial ships. This is expected to contribute enhancement in India’s maritime technological strengths as well as self-reliance in move segment for long term operational capabilities.
