BEML trades in green on bagging order from Ministry of Defence

BEML is currently trading at Rs. 3994.90, up by 7.55 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 3987.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 4040.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4058.40 and Rs. 3961.15 respectively. So far 20179 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4874.85 on 23-Jun-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2346.35 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4096.00 and Rs. 3822.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16595.33 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.37% and 21.77% respectively.
BEML has bagged order from the Ministry of Defence for supply of High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs) 8X8 with contract value of around Rs 282 crore.
Earlier, the company and TuTr Hyperloop (THPL) had signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for developing and deploying innovative high-speed mobility solutions and optimized transportation technologies for various projects, including but not limited to Hyperloop, LIM-based cargo transport, and customized wagons etc.
