Balgopal Commercial rises as its arm gets LoA for redevelopment of land in Mumbai
Balgopal Commercial is currently trading at Rs. 161.80, up by 5.80 points or 3.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 156.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 169.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 180.00 and Rs. 161.80 respectively. So far 1645 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'X' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 272.95 on 06-Oct-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 130.00 on 28-Apr-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 180.00 and Rs. 150.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 376.15 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.39%, while non-institutions held 49.61% stake in the company.
Balgopal Commercial’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Esquire Real Estate & Bio-infocom has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA), Mumbai, for redevelopment of land admeasuring 19,967.36 square meters, situated at Sion Kokari Agar, Shaikh Mistry Road, Antop Hill, Mumbai.
The company's entitlement of free sale component from the project is presently estimated to be around 5.87 lakh square feet (GMV of around Rs 1200 crore), subject to the provisions of Development Control & Promotion Regulations for Greater Mumbai, 2034 and applicable law.
The aforesaid approval is in the ordinary course of business of the subsidiary and enables further progress of the proposed development project, subject to compliance with the conditions specified therein and receipt of other requisite approvals from the concerned authorities.
