Bajaj Auto declines despite reporting 5% rise in September sales
Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs. 10012.25, down by 847.75 points or 7.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 10860.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 10783.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 10783.80 and Rs. 9895.40 respectively. So far 26645 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 12470.00 on 01-Sep-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 8490.10 on 03-Oct-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 11,340.00 and Rs. 9,895.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 274831.32 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.54% and 22.44% respectively.
Bajaj Auto has reported rise of 5% in total sales (domestic + exports) to 5,38,443 units in September 2026 as against 5,10,504 in the same month last year. The total exports (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) increased by 32% to 2,43,987 units in September 2026 as compared to 1,85,252 units in September 2025. However, total domestic sales (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) decreased by 9% to 2,94,456 units in September 2026 as compared to 3,25,252 units in September 2025.
Total domestic two-wheelers sales decreased by 12% to 2,39,771 units in September 2026 as compared to 2,73,188 units in the year-ago month. However, the total domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles increased by 5% at 54,685 units in September 2026 as against 52,064 units in September 2025.
Meanwhile, total exports of two-wheelers increased by 34% to 2,11,723 units in September 2026 as compared to 1,57,665 units in the year-ago month. The total exports of Commercial Vehicles increased by 17% at 32,264 units in September 2026 as against 27,587 units in September 2025.
