Axis Bank trades higher on the BSE
Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1246., up by 16.95 points or 1.38% from its previous closing of Rs. 1230.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1222.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1,249.80 and Rs. 1222.40 respectively. So far 1.40 lakh shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1418.30 on 03-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1041.30 on 01-Sep-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,249.80 and Rs. 1208.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,88,148.38 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 7.87%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 82.60% and 6.43% respectively.
Axis Bank has inaugurated 50 new branches across India as part of its Independence Week celebrations, expanding its presence across urban, semi-urban and rural markets. The new branches, spread across eight states including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha and Tamil Nadu, will offer a range of banking services along with ATMs, doorstep banking, accessible infrastructure and regional language support.
