Axis Bank gains as its gross advances rise 19% in Q1FY27
Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1352.00, up by 9.50 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1342.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1353.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1370.95 and Rs. 1348.50 respectively. So far 84622 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1418.30 on 03-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1041.30 on 01-Sep-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1392.00 and Rs. 1338.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4,20,577.20 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 8.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 85.41% and 6.45% respectively.
Axis Bank’s Gross Advances (End balance) rose 18.8% to Rs 12,72,900 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27) as compared to Rs 10,71,900 crore in same quarter last year (Q1FY26). Further, the bank has reported 18.2% growth in its Total Deposits (End balance) at Rs 13,72,900 crore in Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 11,61,600 crore in same quarter last year. For the quarter under review, the bank’s CASA (End balance) grew 11.4% to Rs 5,21,700 crore in Q1FY27 as against Rs 4,68,200 crore in Q1FY26. Its Term Deposits (End balance) also surged 22.8% to Rs 8,512,00 crore in Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 6,93,400 crore in same quarter last year.
