Avantel gains on bagging order worth Rs 3.36 crore from DRDO

Avantel is currently trading at Rs. 151.40, up by 0.40 points or 0.26% from its previous closing of Rs. 151.00 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 151.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 153.80 and Rs. 146.45 respectively. So far 156671 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 191.95 on 07-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 90.30 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 153.80 and Rs. 132.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4024.89 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.66% and 62.19% respectively.
Avantel has received an order worth of Rs 3.36 crore (including taxes) dated August 25, 2025, for development, porting and testing of SATCOM Waveform (SDR) from Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The order is to be executed by April 27, 2026.
Avantel is actively involved in design and development of products based on High Power Broad band Wireless, Satellite Communication and Broad band access technologies.
