AU Small Finance Bank surges on getting nod for increase in foreign investment limit

AU Small Finance Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1000.00, up by 28.90 points or 2.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 971.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 980.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1007.65 and Rs. 980.80 respectively. So far 102359 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,007.65 on 10-Dec-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 479.00 on 18-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1007.65 and Rs. 944.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs.74666.01 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 22.82%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 66.39% and 10.78% respectively.

AU Small Finance Bank has received approval from Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance on December 9, 2025 for increase in the foreign investment limit in the Bank from 49% at present to maximum permissible limit of 74% of paid up capital of the Bank.

Increased foreign investment limit from 49% at present to 74% will assist the Bank in maintaining sufficient headroom for foreign investment in the Bank through permissible mode of investments in compliance of the consolidated FDI Policy read with the Foreign Exchange Management (Non-debt Instruments) Rules, 2019, as amended from time to time.
