Atul Auto jumps on entering into MoU with Exponent Energy

Atul Auto is currently trading at Rs. 507.45, up by 32.10 points or 6.75% from its previous closing of Rs. 475.35 on the BSE. 

The scrip opened at Rs. 495.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 524.00 and Rs. 494.05 respectively. So far 159926 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 554.20 on 05-Sep-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 381.00 on 30-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 524.00 and Rs. 455.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1437.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.94% and 56.36% respectively.

Atul Auto has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Exponent Energy for commercial electric vehicles for manufacturing and supply of 15,000 electric three-wheelers integrated with Exponent’s battery system and powertrain during the period of three years [extendable by an additional grace period of six months] from the date of state transport authority approvals.

The Company shall manufacture and assemble the Exponent Enabled Vehicles with battery system and powertrain provided by Exponent pioneer in delivering 15-minute rapid charging and a battery life warranted for up to 2,00,000 kms. The Company shall be responsible for all vehicle-level manufacturing activities, including integration of the Exponent’s battery system and powertrain, quality control, end-of-line testing, and delivery of the fully built vehicles to Exponent.

The size of contract is Rs 490.50 crore (Including the cost of battery system and powertrain procured from Exponent). The Parties agreed to a total volume commitment of 15,000 Exponent Enabled Vehicles at a price of around Rs 3.27 lakh per vehicle (Exclusive of GST).
