Ather Energy climbs on introducing new electric scooter 'Konarc'

Ather Energy is currently trading at Rs. 1650.00, up by 38.00 points or 2.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 1612.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1659.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1678.30 and Rs. 1626.40 respectively. So far 596506 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1,678.30 on 31-Aug-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 422.00 on 29-Aug-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,678.30 and Rs. 1432.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 64856.60 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.72%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.52% and 13.76% respectively.

Ather Energy has introduced its new electric scooter ‘Konarc’, taking another step toward making EVs mainstream. Built on the Ather’s new EL platform, Konarc brings the company’s engineering and technology to a wider base of Indian riders, with a refined experience built around ride comfort, range, durability and ease of ownership. 

Konarc will be available across the S and Z product lines, with six variants in total. The S line comprises four variants with IDC ranges of 100 km, 125 km, 161 km, and 200 km, while the Z line comprises two variants with IDC ranges of 125 km and 161 km. Konarc will be available in Quartz White, Lumen Copper, Celestial Gold, and Majestic Grey, with Steel Blue and Claret Red available exclusively on the higher-end Z variants.

Konarc also brings a simpler ownership proposition, with service required only once a year for most riders and a 10-year/100,000 km (whichever is earlier) warranty on its fifth-generation Bedrock TM battery. The scooter introduces a suite of new features including MagicKey, AutoPop, AirWalk and Ather’s Advanced Electronic Braking System (AeBS).

The Konarc S 125 km and Konarc S 161 km variants will be available initially, with bookings and deliveries beginning in mid-September in a phased manner. The rollout will start with select variants and states before expanding to more locations across the country. The Konarc S 100 km is priced at Rs 99,999, the Konarc S 125 km at Rs 1,21,999, and the Konarc S 161 km at Rs 1,44,999, effective ex-showroom Bengaluru.
