Asian Paints moves higher on BSE

Asian Paints is currently trading at Rs 2466.10, up by 15.30 points or 0.62% from its previous closing of Rs 2450.80 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 2454.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs 2484.00 and Rs 2440.95 respectively. So far 13172 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 3394.00 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52-week low of Rs 2125.00 on 04-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 2534.00 and Rs 2410.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 236758.79 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.63%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 27.80% and 19.57% respectively.
Asian Paints has sold its entire holding of 20,10,626 equity shares in Akzo Nobel India, representing 4.42% of its paid-up share capital. The sale was executed at a price of Rs 3,651 per share through the bulk deal mechanism.
Asian Paints manufactures a wide range of paints for decorative and industrial use and also offers Wall Coverings, water proofing, adhesives and services under its portfolio.
