Apollo Pipes gains as its arm acquires 76% stake in Mazzini Tiles LLP
Apollo Pipes is currently trading at Rs. 549.60, up by 6.20 points or 1.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 543.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 550.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 555.25 and Rs. 536.10 respectively. So far 11697 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 670.10 on 25-Aug-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 252.80 on 21-Jan-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 555.25 and Rs. 496.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2429.48 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.72%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.74% and 38.54% respectively.
Apollo Pipes’ subsidiary -- Apollo Ceramics (ACL) has acquired 76% stake and profit sharing rights in Mazzini Tiles LLP (Mazzini), thereby acquiring a controlling interest in Mazzini. Cost of acquisition is Rs 40.42 crore. The acquisition is in line with the company's strategy to expand its presence in the tiles and ceramics business and strengthen its presence in the building materials segment.
