Antony Waste Handling Cell zooms after its arm secures contract from TMC
Antony Waste Handling Cell is currently trading at Rs 529.20, up by 32.70 points or 6.59% from its previous closing of Rs 496.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 522.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 553.50 and Rs 522.00 respectively. So far 157228 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 5 has touched a 52-week high of Rs 692.05 on 30-Jun-2025 and a 52-week low of Rs 407.50 on 09-Dec-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 553.50 and Rs 426.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 1501.98 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.49% and 37.42% respectively.
Antony Waste Handling Cell’s (AWHCL) subsidiary -- Antony Lara Enviro Solutions has secured Pre-Processing Waste Management contract from Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC). The award highlights the continued confidence and trust placed by municipal authorities in AWHCL’s proven execution capabilities, operational excellence, and integrated approach across the solid waste management value chain.
The contract involves the establishment of a 600-800 TPD Solid Waste Pre-processing Plant on a Design, Build, Operate and Transfer (DBOT) basis on land owned by Thane Municipal Corporation at Atkoli, Taluka Bhiwandi. The scope of work includes the setting up of a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) for segregation of mixed solid waste, encompassing design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the facility for a period of 10 years. The total project capital expenditure is estimated at around Rs 67 crore, which shall be reimbursed by Thane Municipal Corporation upon achievement of prescribed milestones, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the tender document.
