Antara Senior Care continues to strengthen its commitment to improve the quality of life of seniors by partnering with the Vayah Vikas to sponsor the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the World 10K Marathon in Bengaluru, held on 28th April.  The senior care brand, under the aegis of the Max Group, sponsored the silvers’ run category of the marathon as part of its continued engagement into the region.

Antara, known for providing integrated lifestyle and lifecare solutions for seniors, had recently launched all its senior care services in Bengaluru including Care Homes, Care-at-Home and Med-care products. The brand opened its first Care Home in Bannerghatta and is soon coming up with one more similar facility in another prominent area in Bengaluru. The care homes provide both specialized and superior assisted-living and transition-care services to seniors.

Antara’s Care-at-Home services provide customised and personalised care solutions to seniors in the comfort of their homes. The services include skilled nursing care, patient caregiver, physiotherapy, home diagnostics, home critical care, and assistance with activities of daily living.

Antara’s med-care range, on the other hand, provide a range of senior-oriented medical devices and equipment that can be used at home for various health conditions.

Last year, the brand had launched AGEasy by Antara, a pioneering platform dedicated to enhancing the well-being of seniors through health and wellness solutions. The daily quality of life of seniors is increasingly being affected by common health conditions such as joint pain, knee pain, increased risk of falls, and hearing loss, among others. AGEasy by Antara is a holistic platform that combines product innovation, expert assistance and easy-to-use technology, helping seniors manage such chronic conditions.

Over the past 12 years, the brand has positively impacted the lives of over 35,000 seniors and their families across India.

At the TCS marathon, the Antara team created a special booth to support seniors running at the event. The booth had physiotherapy sessions, assessment zones by experts that helped interested seniors to get solutions for chronic conditions. About 1500 seniors participated in the run.

Speaking on the occasion, Ishaan Khanna, CEO, Antara Assisted Care Services, said, "We were thrilled to participate in one of Bengaluru’s most active events where the vibrant community of the city comes together. This, and other such opportunities bring us closer to seniors and their families. It gives us insights into what our seniors aspire and helps us continue to tailor our solutions to better impact their lifestyle and lifecare.
