Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee arrived at Hazra Park Durgotsab Durga Puja Pandal in Kolkata on October 22. Prosenjit offered prayers at the idol of Maa Durga and sought blessings on the occasion of Maha Ashtami.
Maha Ashtami, the eighth day of the auspicious Navratri festival, is the most significant day of the Navratri celebrations. It marks the victory of good over evil as symbolized by the slaying of the demon Mahishasura by Goddess Durga.
