Westlife Development surges as its owned McDonald’s opens first restaurant in Bhilai
Westlife Development is currently trading at Rs. 454.55, up by 8.45 points or 1.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 446.10 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 441.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 457.70 and Rs. 437.20 respectively. So far 6503 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 683.55 on 24-Sep-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 389.75 on 24-Feb-2021.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 494.30 and Rs. 437.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6977.57 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.43% and 9.44% respectively.
Westlife Development owned -- McDonald’s restaurants has opened its first restaurant in the ‘Steel City of Central India’ - Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The modern, contemporary McDonald’s restaurant is located in Bhilai’s Surya TI mall. It is an Experience of the Future (EOTF) restaurant that offers its customers an elevated digital experience with self-ordering kiosks, table-top mobile chargers and more.
The new sprawling store is spread across two levels and can seat around 130 people. The restaurant will offer a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and beverage options. It will serve all-time favourites like the Maharaja Mac, McChickenTM, McVeggie, McAloo Tikki, Big Spicy Paneer and Chicken wraps, and the new Gourmet Burger Collection along with the signature fries and desserts. It also houses a McCafe that offers great handcrafted coffee to its customers. Customers in Bhilai can also order food from the comfort of their homes through the McDelivery App.
Westlife Development focuses on putting up and operating Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) in India through its subsidiary HRPL. The Company operates a chain of McDonald's restaurants in west and south India, having a master franchisee relationship with McDonald's Corporation USA, through the latter's Indian subsidiary.
