Unichem Laboratories posts Q1 net loss of Rs 23.28 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 23.28 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 27.83 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 21.90 per cent at Rs 244.78 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 200.80 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.40 per cent to Rs 255.67 crore from Rs 229.50 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 5.50 per cent at Rs 11.85 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 12.54 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 62.06 per cent to Rs -10.89 crore as against Rs -28.70 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 68.86 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 1291.67 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.67 crore
