Swan Energy zooms on inking agreement to lease out FSRU vessel to Botas

Swan Energy is currently trading at Rs. 294.50, up by 16.95 points or 6.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 277.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 279.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 301.80 and Rs. 279.30 respectively. So far 103210 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 379.00 on 23-Jan-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 172.00 on 10-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 301.80 and Rs. 261.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7785.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.07% and 15.84% respectively.

Swan Energy through its subsidiary Triumph Offshore has signed an agreement to lease out its floating storage regasification unit (FSRU) vessel to Turkish government-owned natural gas and LNG firm Botas for an annual rentals of around Rs 800 crore.

The lease arrangement is for a daily rental of $250,000, or about Rs 2 crore, which on an annualised basis works out to be around Rs 800 crore. The duration of the leasing agreement of its FSRU vessel Vasant One is for 12 months and is extendable on mutual agreement.
