The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 58.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 29.55 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 97.29 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 28.63 per cent at Rs 1,721.60 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,338.41 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 28.30 per cent to Rs 1,601.99 crore from Rs 1,248.64 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 66.67 per cent at Rs 1.40 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 0.84 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 33.24 per cent to Rs 119.61 crore as against Rs 89.77 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 3.58 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 37.12 per cent y-o-y to Rs 15.65 crore, while Taxation increased by 100.53 per cent at Rs 18.99 crore (Mar'20 Rs 9.47 crore).
