Skipper trades jubilantly on securing orders worth Rs 1135 crore
Skipper is currently trading at Rs. 162.95, up by 19.00 points or 13.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 143.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 160.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 167.00 and Rs. 153.95 respectively. So far 171508 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 167.00 on 19-June-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 50.00 on 20-Jun-2022.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 167.00 and Rs. 135.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1687.38 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.89%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 9.62% and 18.48% respectively.
Skipper has secured orders worth Rs 1135 crore for Design, supply and construction of new Transmission line projects for Powergrid Corporation as well as Tower and Pole export supplies to Latin America, Middle East and North Africa region.
Earlier, the company had secured fresh new order valuing Rs 2,570 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL).
Skipper is engaged in structural fabrication and manufacturing of mild steel and galvanized iron pipes, steel tubular poles, scaffolding and accessories and PVC pipes. Structural fabrication is the major contributor to the revenue of the company.
