Shalimar Paints posts Q4 net loss of Rs 12.60 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 12.60 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 28.45 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined by 5.55 per cent at Rs 105.54 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 111.74 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 6.80 per cent to Rs 105.36 crore from Rs 113.05 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 68.25 per cent at Rs 2.14 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 6.74 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 113.74 per cent to Rs 0.18 crore as against Rs -1.31 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 114.53 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 9.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.68 crore, while Taxation decreased by 76.60 per cent at Rs 5.94 crore (Mar'21 Rs 25.38 crore).
