SKF India surges as the company to acquire 26% stake in Cleanmax Taiyo

SKF India is currently trading at Rs. 4313.60, up by 23.10 points or 0.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 4290.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4269.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4345.05 and Rs. 4269.10 respectively. So far 423 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5170.85 on 22-Nov-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2984.40 on 12-May-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4481.00 and Rs. 4250.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 21307.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.58%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.45% and 11.97% respectively.

SKF India has agreed to make an investment in Cleanmax Taiyo by acquiring 2,600 fully paid up equity shares of Rs 10 each equivalent to 26% of the total issued and paid-up share capital of the Cleanmax Taiyo. The acquisition will reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions and gain access to renewable energy. The acquisition will be completed by June 2023.
