Quote on Maruti Suzuki Monthly numbers by Milan Desai, Angel Broking
Below are Quote on Maruti Suzuki’s Monthly numbers by Milan Desai, Lead Equity Analyst, Angel Broking
Maruti Suzuki’s reported a 70.8% MoM decline in total sales to 46,555 units for May’21 which is along the expected lines. The operation had been disrupted owing to lockdown and production shutdowns. The total domestic PV sales declined by 75.8% MoM to 32,903 units with Mini, Comact, Mid-size and UVs registering degrowth of 72%-81% on MoM basis. Total Domestic sales, including LCV and sales to other OEMs declined by 75.2% MoM to 35,293 units. The demand environment for PVs is relatively better and the inventory levels are lower than normal levels. We expect the demand to recover with easing up of restriction and expect it to benefit from new launches especially in areas (SUV) where it has lower presence.
