Lupin Limited announced the launch of its diagnostics business in India, Lupin Diagnostics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lupin Limited.

Lupin Limited has set up a state of the art research laboratory in Navi Mumbai across 45,000 sq ft. The company has announced that it will provide a comprehensive range of diagnostics tests in India, which includes molecular diagnostics, cytogenetics, flow cytometry, microbiology, serology, histopathology and cytology, haematology, immunology, amongst others.

We believe that this is positive news for Lupin Limited, diagnostics industry is a very big industry in India and it's growing at 15%+ CAGR, along with this Covid testing has helped listed diagnostics companies to reach Tier-II and Tier III cities in India. Also, we believe that the organized sector keeps increasing its market share in the diagnostics business in India.
