* The BSE Sensex ended at 58,014.17 up by 813.94 points or 1.42% after trading in a range of 58,257.63 and 57,746.15. There were 27 stocks advancing and 3 stocks declining on the index.
* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 1.76%, and Small cap index was up by 0.99%.
* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, FMCG was up by 0.71%, Utilities was up by 0.44%, Telecom was up by 1.32%, Realty was up by 3.17%, Oil & Gas was up by 1.41%, Capital Goods was up by 0.97%, and Energy was up by 1.83%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.
* There were Tech Mahindra was up by 4.88%, Wipro was up by 3.70%, Bajaj Finserv was up by 3.22%, Infosys was up by 3.05%, and SBIN was up by 2.87%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.
* There were Indusind Bank was down by 3.51%, Kotak Bank was down by 2.14%, and Hindustan Unilever was down by 0.38%, the top losers were on the Sensex.
* The CNX Nifty ended at 17,339.85 up by 237.90 points or 1.39% after trading in a range of 17,410.00 and 17,264.15. There were 44 stocks advancing and 6 stocks declining.
