* The BSE Sensex ended at 55,949.10 up by 4.10 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 56,112.39 and 55,854.07. There were 14 stocks advancing and 16 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.30%, and Small cap index was up by 0.31%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Energy was up by 1.14%, Oil & Gas was up by 0.72%, Utilities was up by 0.38%, FMCG was up by 0.57%, Realty was up by 0.41%, and Capital Goods was up by 0.69%, while, Telecom was down by 3.45%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Reliance was up by 1.29%, Mahindra & Mahindra was up by 1.18%, HCL Tech was up by 1.13%, ICICI Bank was up by 1.09%, and AXIS Bank was up by 0.98%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bharti Airtel was down by 4.18%, Maruti was down by 1.59%, Power Grid was down by 1.34%, SBIN was down by 1.30%, and TATA Steel was down by 1.14%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 16,636.90 up by 2.25 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 16,683.70 and 16,603.40. There were 22 stocks advancing and 28 stocks declining.
