The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.45%, and Small cap index was up by 0.38%.

The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Capital Goods was up by 0.50%, FMCG was up by 0.08%, Realty was up by 1.27%, Energy was up by 1.00%, Oil & Gas was up by 0.35%, Utilities was up by 0.57%, and Telecom was up by 2.47%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

There were Bharti Airtel was up by 2.94%, UltraTech Cement was up by 1.95%, TATA Steel was up by 1.77%, Power Grid was up by 1.50%, and Reliance was up by 1.37%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

There were HCL Tech was down by 3.23%, Infosys was down by 1.60%, Bajaj Finserv was down by 1.56%, NTPC was down by 1.08% and ICICI Bank was down by 1.06%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

The CNX Nifty ended at 15,923.40 down by 0.80 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 15,962.25 and 15,882.60. There were 23 stocks advancing and 26 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
