* There were TATA Steel was up by 2.50%, Bajaj Finserv was up by 2.15%, SBIN was up by 1.45%, Bajaj Finance was up by 1.12%, and Nestle India was up by 0.89%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were AXIS Bank was down by 3.23%, Kotak Bank was down by 2.44%, Sun Pharma was down by 2.21%, HDFC was down by 1.19%, and ITC was down by 1.16%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,746.45 down by 78.00 points or 0.49% after trading in a range of 15,881.55 and 15,701.00. There were 17 stocks advancing and 33 stocks declining.
