* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,549.66 down by 185.93 points or 0.35% after trading in a range of 52,816.42 and 52,477.77. There were 13 stocks advancing and 17 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in red; the BSE Mid cap index down by 0.42%, and Small cap index was down by 0.07%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, FMCG was up by 0.55%, Utilities was up by 0.41%, and Realty was down by 0.44%, while, Oil & Gas was down by 1.22%, Energy was down by 0.49%, Capital Goods was down by 0.34%, and Telecom was down by 1.22%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Power Grid was up by 1.75%, Hindustan Unilever was up by 1.39%, NTPC was up by 1.25%, Dr. Reddy was up by 0.83%, and Nestle India was up by 0.77%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Kotak Bank was down by 1.54%, ICICI Bank was down by 1.52%, Tech Mahindra was down by 1.47%, Bajaj Auto was down by 1.39% and Mahindra & Mahindra was down by 1.35%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,748.45 down by 66.25 points or 0.42% after trading in a range of 15,835.90 and 15,724.05. There were 14 stocks advancing and 35 stocks declining and 1 stock unchanged.
