* The BSE Sensex ended at 52,104.17 down by 49.96 points or 0.10% after trading in a range of 52,516.76 and 51,863.61. There were 14 stocks advancing and 16 stocks declining on the index.

* The broader indices ended in green; the BSE Mid cap index up by 0.19%, and Small cap index was up by 0.43%.

* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Realty was up by 0.28%, Utilities was up by 3.29%, Energy was up by 1.65%, Oil & Gas was up by 1.55%, and Capital Goods was up by 0.54%. while, Telecom was down by 0.06%, and FMCG was down by 0.70%, top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Power Grid was up by 6.24%, ONGC was up by 5.44%, TATA Steel was up by 3.98%, NTPC was up by 2.94%, and Kotak Bank was up by 1.78%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were AXIS Bank was down by 2.42%, ICICI Bank was down by 2.30%, Infosys was down by 1.50%, Nestle India was down by 1.50%, and SBIN was down by 1.17%, the top losers were on the Sensex.

* The CNX Nifty ended at 15,313.45 down by 1.25 points or 0.01% after trading in a range of 15,431.75 and 15,242.20. There were 26 stocks advancing against 24 stocks declining.
