The upswing in demand that began at the start of the pandemic continues the momentum owing to the uncertainty due to Omicron. Location, demographic and credibility of the developer have taken centre stage for the homebuyer. It was therefore no surprise that the Western region of Mumbai to dominated home sales in January. The sector is very bullish for continued demand in Maharashtra, especially Mumbai.”
