HIGHLIGHTS
Nifty futures closed at 17559 on a positive note with 5.45% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 8 points compared to the previous day discount of 28 points. BankNifty closed at 37371 on positive note with 1.00% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 146 points compared to the previous day premium of 40 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 284 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 2433 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 177 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 2571 crores.
India VIX index is at 16.52 v/s 17.49. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 14.31 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 14.58.
