HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17243 on a negative note with 4.04% decrease in the open interest indicating Long Unwinding. Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 7 points compared to the previous day discount of 21 points. BankNifty closed at 35641 on negative note with 3.47% decrease in open interest indicating Long Unwinding. BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 56 points compared to the previous day discount of 76 points
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 859 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 5853 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1191 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 3552 crores India VIX index is at 23.93 v/s 24.74. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 19.94 whereas Nifty ATM Put option IV is quoting at 23.95.
