HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 14403 on a positive note with 4.41% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering. Nifty Futures closed at a discount of 3 points compared to previous day premium of 1 points. BankNifty closed at 31763 on a positive note with 5.77 % increase in open interest indicating Long Build Up. BankNifty Futures closed at a discount of 20 points compared to the previous day premium of 8 points.
FII's were Buyers in Index Futures to the tune of 437 crores and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 7931 crores, Buyers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1075 crores. Net Buyers in derivative segment to the tune of 9557 crores.
India VIX index is at 23.02 v/s 22.42.Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 22.17 whereas Nifty ATM put option IV is quoting at 25.84
