Narayana Hrudayalaya posts Q1 net profit of Rs 42.55 cr
The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 42.55 crore compared to net loss of Rs 3.66 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 29.55 per cent at Rs 694.35 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 535.99 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 16.92 per cent to Rs 594.66 crore from Rs 508.62 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 3.70 per cent at Rs 5.73 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 5.95 crore). Operating Profit surged by 264.23 per cent to Rs 99.69 crore as against Rs 27.37 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 181.02 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 3.79 per cent y-o-y to Rs 9.40 crore, while Taxation increased by 1262.44 per cent at Rs 22.90 crore (Jun'21 Rs -1.97 crore).
