NTPC rises as its JV inks agreement with Andhra Pradesh State Housing Company

NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 201.70, up by 1.05 points or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs. 200.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 201.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 202.10 and Rs. 200.05 respectively. So far 3267086 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 202.10 on 26-Jul-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 149.00 on 28-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 202.10 and Rs. 191.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 195678.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.10% and 2.80% respectively.

Energy Efficiency Services (EESL), a joint venture (JV) of four PSUs including NTPC, Power Finance Corporation, Rural Electrification Corporation & Power Grid Corporation, has signed a Rs 110-crore agreement with Andhra Pradesh State Housing Company (APSHCL) to provide energy-efficient appliances to beneficiaries of a government scheme in the state.

As part of the partnership, residents of Jagananna colonies under Andhra Pradesh government's Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu (NPI) scheme will get 6 lakh LED bulbs, 3 lakh LED tubelights and 3 lakh BLDC ceiling fans through nodal agency Andhra Pradesh State Energy Efficiency Development Corporation (APSEEDCO).

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
