Motilal Oswal AMC announces clarification on Direct transaction in ETF Schemes
Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company (AMC) has announced addendum to the Scheme Information Document (SID) and Key Information Memorandum (KIM) of schemes of Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund.
Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund (MF) informed that in accordance with clause 2(IV) (A) of SEBI circular No. SEBI/HO/IMD/DOF2/P/CIR/2022/69 dated May 23, 2022, direct transaction with AMCs in respect of units of ETFs were to be facilitated for investors only for transactions above a specified threshold of Rs.25 crore with effective from July 01, 2022 wherein the said timeline was extended to May 01, 2023. In this regard, unitholders are hereby informed that pursuant to clarification received from SEBI vide letter dated April 28, 2023, clause 2(IV)(A) of the Circular shall not be applicable for the below mentioned investors till October 31, 2023 - Schemes managed by Employee Provident Fund Organisation, India; Recognized Provident Funds, approved gratuity funds and approved superannuation funds under Income tax act, 1961.
This addendum forms an integral part of SID and KIM of the Designated Schemes, Motilal Oswal Nifty 50 ETF, Motilal Oswal Nifty Midcap 100 ETF, Motilal Oswal Nifty 5 YR Benchmark G-Sec ETF, Motilal Oswal Nasdaq 100 ETF, Motilal Oswal Nasdaq Q 50 ETF, Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Low Volatility ETF, Motilal Oswal Nifty 200 Momentum 30 ETF, Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Healthcare ETF, Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Quality ETF and Motilal Oswal S&P BSE Enhanced Value ETF. Further, all the other terms and conditions of the aforesaid documents read with the addenda issued from time to time will remain unchanged.
