Summary: Mahindra and Mahindra is an Indian automotive manufacturing company. There are many models of Mahindra MPVs, SUVs and Pickups. These vehicles are good for both city rides and long hauls. A long drive in Mahindra Marazzo to Corbett National Park is something very exciting and memorable.

After a long wait, it was time to go for a long drive to the Corbett National Park during a weekend. I had hardly two days and I had to select the car I should be driving to the Park. I reserved a room for myself in one of the resorts at the National Park. The park was closed on account of the Monsoon but I wanted to enjoy the beauty of the place. I knew the drive would be pretty exciting as well as challenging. It would be a good test for a new vehicle. I had Mahindra Marazzo at my office. The car was recently launched. I decided to drive it to the Corbett so I got it filled in and was ready with all my bags. My colleague showed interest to accompany me and I liked the idea because he happens to be an ace photographer. I was looking forward to getting into some real adventure.

The drive was slowly caused by the heavy traffic on the highways and account of some construction work in progress. We faced torrential rains that prevented smooth driving. Some real bad roads presented other challenges. The suspension of MahindraMarazzo turned out to be supple enough that helped me to press on the accelerator pedal not feeling any bumps or jolts. When the rains subsided a bit, we took some nice pictures of the vehicle as well as the surrounding nature.

The next day, we decided to start early to visit some nice spots to get some really good pictures of Marazzo. We drove to the river Koshi the road to which was strewn with rocks and pebbles. Despite the place being picturesque, there was a heap of garbage there that was quite disappointing. We cleaned up the place a bit and photographed the car. All along, it has been a difficult drive due to some bad patches of road and traffic on the highways. The Marazzo kept its promise of being very comfortable to us. I got the fuel efficiency of 15.4 kmpl. Marazzo can give a tough competition to Toyota InnovaCrysta. The car is more affordable also in this segment. The good performance of Marazzo, its comfort and relatively lower price make it a better option for a buyer.

Mahindra Marazzo is an MPV and it is BSVI emission rule compliant. There are three variants of this car. They are M2, M4+ and M6+. The price of Marazzo is between 11.25 lakh and 13.51 lakh. This price is ex-showroom Delhi. Marazzo competes in India with the cars like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, XL6, Toyota InnovaCrysta and MG Hector Plus. Mahindra Marazzo is available in 7- and 8-seater variants. There is a captain seat in the middle. A 7-sitter will have a bench seat at the back. The seats can be folded back to provide greater space. It has a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The engine is BS6 compliant. There is a power of 121bhp when the rpm reaches 3500.
