Maharashtra Seamless Q1 net profit up 10.83% at Rs 114.07 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 114.07 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to Rs 102.92 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 10.83 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 74.52 per cent at Rs 1,057.60 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 606.01 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 79.73 per cent to Rs 877.64 crore from Rs 488.31 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 67.78 per cent at Rs 10.14 crore versus (Jun'21 Rs 31.47 crore). Operating Profit surged by 52.90 per cent to Rs 179.96 crore as against Rs 117.70 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.36 per cent in June quarter. Interest grew by 4.69 per cent y-o-y to Rs 9.82 crore, while Taxation increased by 286.16 per cent at Rs 39.35 crore (Jun'21 Rs 10.19 crore).
